Nativity Play (on the Word)

I've posted something new and exciting at Play on the Word. If you're interested in helping your pre-schoolers find out more about the Christmas story and play their way through December, go and have a look here!

There is one big download (in a few sections - darn you, upload limit!) in it you'll find:

  • Five weeks' worth of Christmas stories designed especially for under fives. They work really well with our lot.
  • Ideas for interactive story-telling which is essential for little ones and ideal for those who find language a little harder.
  • An enormous amount of play ideas to give you opportunities to share the exciting news about Jesus and chat with and have TONNES of fun with your children.
  • An idea for an advent calendar which will prompt play, craft and conversation.
  • Cut-out and colour nativity figures
  • Templates, craft ideas and delicious recipes!

It's all free. Take a look and have fun!

How wonderful! I just finished downloading all the great Nativity resources. Our little one isn't even born yet, but I am already excited for the day we can start explaining Jesus and the true Christmas story to her. Thanks, Alice, to you and your sis-in-law!

Hello Alice. The download is brilliant. I don't know where you get all your ideas from. We made two Mary's and two angels today, not told the story yet as time went. Thank you for you ideas and keep up the good work. Love Clare x
